Lately I've been hearing lots of talk about freecycling. It sounds like a great concept but I'm just not that good of a team player to be a good participant. I tend to throw perfectly good items away. In my defense, I do put them just outside the trash bins so I'm sure other tenants in the complex have taken them. I had pretty much convinced myself that I shouldn't bother looking into freecycle groups in my community until today.
One of my cats decided that he didn't like his dinner last night so he was going to complain loudly in the hallway at 5 a.m. this morning. This act of rebellion caused Emily to wake up for good around 6 a.m. My other cat has been using our couch as her own personal cat scratching post. We came home late this evening to find her scratching on the wood that is the frame of our couch. She busted straight through the cover and the stuffing! What a bitch.
I had reached my limit and announced that I couldn't take any more and I was going to "freecycle their asses" if things didn't change. I could tell I really got my point across as the boy cat started licking his empty ball sack.
