Fun Friday

As you can see, Audrey is not very fond of the camera nowadays. She barely tolerated her picture being taken.
We usually try to walk Emily to school as a family, including Jeremy. The other day we were walking Emily to school and a mom from another class approached us and told us that she just wanted to let us know that she thought we were a beautiful family. That honestly made my whole week. I know that she didn't mean beautiful in an aesthetic way. I've been feeling far from beautiful lately. I'm sure she meant that it was nice to see us all together loving each other as a family, which we truly do. There are many things in life that I would like but one thing I never yearn for is for a different family life. I love that Jeremy works from home and that our girls have equal opportunities to be with both of us all the time.
I didn't expect to get that deep but I'm weaning myself off of Zoloft so bear with me. After getting Emily off to school, Jeremy and I took Audrey and Molly to Michaels for more yarn. I've been adding different products to my Sud Satchel shop and the baby wraps that I started making have become more and more popular. I needed more yarn to get more wraps in stock. While I was picking out yarn Jeremy found a latch hook kit with the picture of a fish that he wanted to try making. When we got home I realized that it didn't come with the actual latch hook, poor Jeremy.
We came back home, ate lunch, and got the girls down for their naps. I spent naptime making money on a website called cash crate. I'm a sucker for online surveys and signing up for samples. The company truly does pay out. I'll be sure to take a picture of my first check and post it here.
After naptime and getting Emily from school I took the girls to my parents' house. We had so much fun. My mom watches my nephew and he was started to get a little antsy. My dad decided to take him for a walk and let the girls join him. Emily decided to get out her big wheel and I thought that would be the perfect opportunity to have Audrey use the mini big wheel trike we got her last summer. Audrey wasn't very good at pedaling so I convinced her to put her feet on the foot rest and I would let her steer any way she wanted to. We had so much fun riding all over the place.
Emily decided to spend the night at my parents'. As soon as I got Audrey and Molly home, I took Molly to bed and Audrey had one on one time with Jeremy and I this evening. She loves her time alone. She spent a good hour playing with her toy train set and then she read me a book before going to bed. I love days like this...
Oh for anyone who was wondering what Country Captain is you can read about it here.
